Position Responsibilities
Chairman (Chuck Stork)
  • Chairs meetings of the Board
  • Sets Agenda and Calendar
  • Contact to outside organizations
  • Reports progress to Congregation & Council
Vice Chairman (Dick Jones)
  • Chairs meetings in absence of Chairman
  • Assists Chairman as needed
  • Interface to other directors
Director Secretary/Legal (Ken Voigt)
  • Provides record of board meetings and post them to web site.
  • Sends correspondence as needed.
  • Maintains corporation and not-for-profit documentation.
  • Maintains overall activities calendar.
  • Consults attorney as needed on behalf of the board
Director of Education (Fred Baltz)
  • Chairs the education committee
  • Finds and teaches resource people
  • Contributes ideas and information for programs and displays
  • Responsible for biblical/theological concepts and quality control
  • Gives assistance and guidance to other directors as needed
Director of Planning and Implementation (Fred Baltz *)
  • Chairs planning and implementation committee
  • Oversees model building and other projects
  • Identifies resources to facilitate the creation of all displays and programs
  • Works closely with the director of education to ensure biblical/theological integrity
  • Works closely with the director of education to ensure authenticity
Director of Finance (Roger Johnson)
  • Chairs finance committee
  • Maintains overall budget
  • Pays all bills Collects and deposits contributions
  • As required computerizes accounting
  • Sends out statements of contributions
  • Finds volunteers if needed
Director of Building (Roger Johnson *)
  • Chairs the Building Committee
  • Develops the Building Program
  • Works with other Outside Organizations
  • Works Closely with City Officials other outside entities
  • Finds Volunteers for building related needs
  • Creates Subcommittees as needed
  • Maintains inventory of displays/storage of displays
Director of Marketing and Communication (Rebecca McIntyre)
  • Chairs the marketing and communications committee
  • Maintains program calendar
  • Finds volunteers for maintaining web site and other communications needs
  • Issues press releases to churches, newspapers for BA events
  • Creates ways of effective communication signs, fliers, radio, & TV, etc.
Directors of Fund Raising (Mary Hill and Fabi Voigt)
  • Chairs the fund raising committee
  • Presents and promotes Bible Alive to local, tri-state, state, national audiences
  • Actively creatively seeks funds from potential contributors
  • Organizes fund-raising events through the committee
  • Finds Volunteers
